FAQ
1. Is there a fee to join the Network?
- Not at this time.
2. What type of organizations are you looking for to join the network?
- Organizations that agree with and are willing to uphold the mission and values of the CJNY through the work of their organization.
3. What do you have to do to become a member?
- Sign the CJNY membership form
4. Can I join the network as an individual or do I have to be apart of an organization?
- You must first join as an organization, if you leave the organization you originally joined the network with but still want to be apart of the CJNY then we recommend two things:
- Give the CJNY any new contact information relevant for the current organization to remain connected to the network as a member.
- If you find a new organization to work with then we recommend that you introduce them to the network. If the new organization is not a fit for membership, then you can remain an individual member of the network and must fill out another membership form including your personal contact information.
5. If I become a member, what is expected of my organization or me?
- Provide the CJNY with any information necessary to guide the network as to the best way to service member organizations.
- Regularly attend CJNY gatherings relevant to your state and region.
- Be open to share your organizations best practices with other organizations in the network and provide any necessary Peer-To-Peer Assistance that is within your organizational capacity.
- Voluntarily engage in CJNY activities by participating in relevant conference calls, planning meetings, conferences, sponsored travel, providing facilitation etc. this is in addition to any request made by members in the regions i.e. follow-up meetings, trainings, workshops etc.
